For the friend of a business associate. He has a friend in the Orlando area who has some physical issues such that I recommended him having a pro fit to identify and compensate for the issues.

Anybody? . . . Anybody? . . . Buehler? :)

Thanks!

I have had a Retul fit at Orange Cycle but I have heard that there is a guy in the Lake Mary/Altamonte area that kills it.

I can also offer that David’s World Cycle in College Park has just made a big investment in a fitting system that looks like it could do the job.

Not sure what the issue are, I had some fit issues that contributed to lower back and neck pain that The fit at Orange Cycle cured, but if someone knows the name of the guy in the Altamonte/Lake Mary area that is likely the path to pursue.

Hope this helps

Orange Cycle used to provide really good fits, and they have a good studio. So much depends on the fitter, and I'm not sure who runs the studio now. But that is who I recommend especially for physical issues.

I had a fit done at Orange Cycle. Was very satisfied. I have some old age issues they understood. They have a big selection of seats and other fit parts to set up a bike. I will say.....I have drifted away from some of their numbers, as I learned what my body was doing while pedaling, but it was a huge learning experience for me to have my body and range of motion really measured, and to be properly set up on my bike.

The Orlando area is such a huge riding scene that it supports a good number of fit professionals. Many have excellent reputations, I just don't know them.

...I think you might be referring to Adam Baskin, he's supposed to be one of the best...

Another recommendation for Adam Baskin. Had him do a fit session for me a couple of years ago. Checks your flexibility/strength/range of motion/etc, talks about what you're looking to get out of it, etc.

While he does use the Retul numbers as a guideline, he fully acknowledges that not everybody and body type can fit into the prescribed "box" they give and will work around that.

There are several in the Orlando area:

Mike Cottle (Outspoken) and David Houle (D2 Cycling) are located in the Lake Mary area.

Orange Cycles has a Retul system and they are good. I've also heard great things about Adam Baskin, he's tied to Winter Park Cycles.

That is the guy. Like I said I have done Orange Cycle and they do a good job but I heard Adam is the best

. . . for all the great feedback. I will forward it to my associate and he can get it to his friend.
