How compatible is the new generation 11spd (mechanical) with the first year 11 spd??
Has anyone had success mixing shift levers, derailleurs, and cranksets among the new gen and first gen?? Unfortunately components do not wear out at the same rate. Would like to keep my shift levers for a while longer.

It'll all be fine.

The new shifters change where your trim click is, but otherwise it'll be fine.

Very, and yes, no problem...regardless of what some 'say', 2015 before and after are cross compatible..need a new der? Get a 2018 one..:)
