View Full Version : Campagnolo Freehub Bearing Replacement

For the current Campagnolo Record rear hub I found the free hub (casette body) bearings, 6803RS, and was able to replace them successfully.

Are these bearings the same as those required for the previous version (early 2000's) of the Record rear hub? I don't see any identification marking on these bearings.

Yes, the same as long as the axle is aluminum and OS(the fat, oversized one).

From about 1998 on...

On a related note, does anyone know if their is any availability worldwide of the threadless RH axle cone that was used on the earlier steel-axled freehubs?

I have 1 or 2, Vecchios has them...Campag NA still has them , pretty sure.

You are looking for FH - RE110 for an 8 speed hub? I also thought these had disappeared.

They aren't many, many out there but these hubs were made for almost 10 years..
