Just posted a frame for sale on my local CL.

Posting includes the statement:

" Serious inquiries only please. Spammers will be spanked."

So I get a message asking about my last price. I respond reiterating my asking price, and get this message back:

okay
thank you.
i will like to pay for it right away by sending you a check and when it clears my movers will come for the pick up or i mail out a cashier check to you because i am out of town and i would have mover comp pick em as they have other item to pick alongside yours


Think it's a scam? :)

I inquired about his address and offered to drop the item off...

I've been around for a while, since before RFC822 was nicknamed "email" :)

Surprisingly, I haven't heard back from the potential buyer (scammer). Guess he thought my offer of dropping the frame at his place was too generous....
