A friend on Sunday's ride mentioned this film (details below), and I just saw that one of the RCC members in NYC is attempting to gather enough people to have a screening on May 23. Currently they need another 29 people to commit to assure the event, with a charity benefit to boot. Here's what he posted:
Join us for a special screening of “Le Ride,” starring Phil Keoghan, host of the Amazing Race on CBS. The film chronicles Phil’s quest to retrace the route of the 1928 Tour de France on a single-gear, original steel frame bicycle. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cycle for Survival Foundation. We need at least 30 more tickets to be purchased for the theater to screen the film, so please encourage and friends or family who might be interested in attending to join.

Screening at 6:30 p.m. at Regal Battery Park Stadium 11
