Any PL members have a work stand or some overhead way of holding the bike up to work on it? I have a small-ish bike room that I'm thinking about heading this direction on. Really like the 80/20 piece and pin to swivel it up and out of the way.

I would rather look into a stand like this:

Along with this for quick jobs:

This would be more versatile than a fixed mount work stand. You can move it to one side of the room or another, and use it elsewhere. They wouldn’t take up any more room than a ceiling mount.

work stations have a most helpful feature...they permit access to an open floor under the bike. Cleaning is much easier, and checking out the underside of the bike is also much easier. I'd say go for it.

Thinking about using this remote controlled storage shelf in my next house. Looking at a house with a 10' garage ceiling. Up and down from the ceiling using a remote. Maybe one could put a work stand on it....and use for bike storage also.
