Probably not much more than 100 km on this tire.
Something sharp went through the sidewall and the tread.

Should I
- scrap it
- ride as is
- patch it and ride

If patch it, with what? Will an adhesive patch result in a stiff bump in that spot?

Is it leaking? If not get a glue gun, glue it down...go ride.

What OP said. If there is no bump there when inflated, ride it.

My 27mm Pave...same gig, little ‘flap’, no bulge.

What OP said and add a patch to the inside of the tire and call it good.

They are great tires but they are super fragile. I have a couple of similar cuts (mine are in the center), I out a bit of super glue and its been holding up but I think hot glue might be better because it does not harden as hard.

I had a fairly new Spec Ed tire get a traingular sidewall cut on a planned 100 mile ride. Definitely had a bulge. At almost 1/4" per side, I was sure I was stranded. But... I had a PowerBar wrapper in my jersey pocket. So I folded it in half and booted the tire. Ended up riding that for weeks.

Bottom line, boot it and ride.

super bummer, ive never had cuts on these tires, knock wood. but yeah, id patch it on the insdie and add a bit of gorilla glue or UV glue and call it rideable.

I agree with what's been said above - Park tire boot inside the tire and go.

Park's tire boot instructions mention it is for emergency use only, and to replace a patched tire asap. It's not a long term fix.

That said, if there's no bulge when you inflate it, it's fine. If there's a bulge, toss it.

Tire, tent, exhaust manifold... there's nothing you can't fix with that stuff.

Of course they are going to say that. Liability. A small cut with a park boot will be fine. The repair will outlive the tire.

Glue a piece of Tyvek from a USPS bag to it with tubular cement or barge cement. Run it.
