Searching CraigsList

Most of the PSA's popping up are usually outside of the poster's geographical area, so obviously they were found through some sort of search engine etc.

What is the best way to search CL? I was using DailyLister but the very minimal search results lead me to believe something isn't right.

i go to google, type in "site:craigslist.org/bik "search term" "

I tend to use www.adhuntr.com.

Problem is, some links may be old or expired but a buddy just used it to score a bike he was looking for out of Cali (he's in the Chicago area).

I also do some searching by selecting nearby areas, growing the search radius as I click...
This is reserved for use during boring conference calls.

is searchtempest still working?

still works but not a good as it used to be. They ran into some hiccups with CL and had to switch a few things around. You will get some dead links in there too.

Daily lister no longer works for me Now it gives items way beyond bicycles Looking for a new one to use

I use Cplusforcraigslist app. Nice for running searches across multiple cities and also posting pretty straightforward if in a hurry (but prefer posting directly on CL)
