Ouch! My ears are bleeding. This is supposedly a soundboard recording of Linda McCartney's backing vocals on Hey Jude.

I think Arni and Danny had the same choreographer as Tommy.

Took a nice ride on the fixed-gear yesterday, and the music in my head was....."Get Down Goblin"

Thanks a lot!!! :crap: (Actually, it was far better than the Billy Joel song that plagued my ride two weeks ago....)

Thanks, I do feel better, although I can't help thinking that video could have really benefitted from some *Native-American* dancers or something.

Any recommendations for my next Loud Family disc purchase? I have Plants and Birds and Rocks and Things, and Days for Days, both of which I really like, but not sure what to try next.

Interbabe Concern, written as/after his 1st wife left him, is my absolute favorite LF album. It's an extended cry of anguish, as formated by the most cerebral guy in rock. Scott Miller can write a phrase like this:

We're fighting smiling Irish. They say that we
Look good in uniform, and mais oui!
So good you couldn't pry the cold dead fingers
Of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders free.
We're action at a distance, we're forces
They say we're cute when we're mad, and we are!
So cute there's not an animation product in Japan
We don't outsparkle by far.

...and not only make it musical, but make it rock. He gets it.

After that, I'd say Attractive Nuisance and then The Tape of Only Linda, both of which I'd rank behind the ones you own. Then What If It Works?, which is split with Anton Barbeau.

Now, the very, very best Loud Family album is from Game Theory: Lolita Nation. I hope you have a turntable. The CD goes for $50+ when you can find it. Worth it, atmo.

Now if anyone really wants this thread back on topic,

I think this guy really needs to attend the William Shatner School of Self Mockery, or something.

or is Apache boy our own BBD sporting one of his outrageous buckskin riding kits while sporting a wig?

Well, Dave... tell us. Tell us what happened? Gotta tell you, I think Sandy would like an 'in' with your band. Or more likely, be another one of the dancers.
