Seeing the thread mentioning "Saved by the Bell," I thought I'd post a link to these interviews of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, for those who haven't seen them:

(Check out his "personal refreshment stand"!!!)

Another celebrity, or rather great pro athlete in a different sport, who took up racing is Mike Richter. He became a student at Yale after his hockey career ended, and he started racing with the team. You can Google his race results. He climbed Mt. Washington this year in 1:22:29, not bad for someone who weighs 185 lbs (http://www.coolrunning.com/results/06/nh/Jul8_Newton_set1.shtml). More about Mike Richter in this article: http://www.nhregister.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=16027736&BRD=1281&PAG=461&dept_id=7592&rfi=6.

Any other celebrities you can think of who raced or race?

Alexandra Paul (Baywatch non-modified lifeguard) has done triathlons (including IM Hawaii) and is an open-water swimmer. She and her husband (a triathlon coach) just did the Maui Channel Crossing (9.5 miles); took her over 8 hours in rough conditions.

i race against mark paul a lot. he's a great guy. the first time we were shoulder to shoulder in a sprint and throwing bikes at the line.. i looked over and saw it was zach from saved by the bell that pipped me for the podium and i just about fell over. it was surreal. he's a tough trackie, nice guy, and crit solid sprinter. no fancy pants needy look at me actor stuff at all. he should become a 2 this season (not an easy task on socal).

I wonder what bicycle she is riding. She's got Campy and cool silver bars (if only those mp aero-bars weren't there). The frame looks "modern", though; I wonder what it is.

While I like the cycling photos, I'm also a big fan of Ms. Paul's swimming abilities. ;-)

Beautiful faces with short hair are my preference, as well.

Too much information?

I got beat by Edward James Olmos from Miami Vice a couple of times. I think he was doping though, ever look at his complexion?
