The only way I'm going to start a New Year's resolution is to start now so I have some momentum by the big day. Ride more. Easy to say, hard to start in Jan. The only consistant part of the day I can find is before work.

I've started to wake up earlier and devote 45min to the trainer before I do anything else. So far so good. I just have to remember that the snooze button is the work of the devil.

6AM is slim pickins for the boob tube. Right now, I've settled into Saved by the Bell for a little flash from the past. I haven't hooked the DVD up yet and when I do I have the entire Seinfeld collection to start with. 28 or so DVDs of pure hilarity and I hope I don't fall off the rollers when I switch over to them soon. Gotta get a new set of roller as the previous ones are no longer in my possession.

Cheers,

If you were hard core you would go into the cold, dank garage and listen to an ipod while stareing at a wall for 3 hours....

Wuss.

:D

Seriously though, good on you.

Have you thought about a DVR? I recently picked one up and was surprised that with rebates, a new DVR is free. You still have to pay a monthly fee, but it is worth it if you are going to be on the trainer that much.

You can recored your favorite late night TV and watch it in the AM. Not quite Saved by the Bell, but it could work.

use that Tivo to record Yankees triumphs on ESPN Classic and relive their glory days. I'm surprised Bradford didn't think of that ! ;)

Prisoner: You lucky bastard.
Brian: Who's that?
Prisoner: You lucky lucky bastard.
Brian: What?
Prisoner: Proper little jailers pet, aren't we?
Brian: What do you mean?
Prisoner: You must have slipped him a few sheckles, eh?
Brian: Slipped him a few sheckles? You saw him spit in my face.
Prisoner: Oh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face. I sometimes hang awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
Brian: Well it's not exactly friendly, is it? They have me in manacles!
Prisoner: Manacles?! Ooohaaawwww. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out of your arse, sonny.
Brian: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
Prisoner: YOU'VE had a hard time? I've been here five years. They only hung me up the right way up yesterday.

Yeah, gotta get the DVD player going. Although Saved by the Bell isn't half bad once you get to know the characters;-)

Imus In The Morning. 6am on MSNBC. i usually like to be on the road by 6:15 so I only get to see the first few minutes. Us earlybirds are treated with Christine Johnson  doing the news before The I-Dude. Somehow the world goingto hell in a handbasket doesn't seem all that bad when Christine is wearing a tight sweater :hello:

I just "discovered" it 5 or 6 weeks ago. I have seen about 10 episodes so far. I've got to imagine that's most of them. It's awesome.
