CEN only helmets [Archive] - The Paceline Forum

I was looking at a couple of helmets on Ebay and I noticed that some of them don't have the CPSC sticker....Are there CEN only versions of helmets? Or are these fake? They look damn good for fakes....

Tons of fakes on ebay. I'd only buy a helmet from a real vendor.

Could be something brought in via grey market channels. I picked up a nice Uvex helmet in Europe with CEN/TUV approval and I'm not really concerned that it doesn't have a CPSC sticker. As to which type of approval is better, or if it matters at all, I don't know. For some reason I suspect the Germans are a bit more rigorous about this than our slacker government.
