I have a 36 hole King Classic wheelset that I am thinking about getting rebuilt. What rims would you guys recommend similar to a HED Belgium + that is drilled for 36 holes? I am looking for something wide and comfy to go under my Serotta CRL.

Velocity various or H+son Archetype.

Depends on the bike you''re sticking the wheels in.
Steel? (old or new) TB-14s
AL? Open Pros
Carbon? 20-30mm carbon rims

Velocity Quill..... HED + width, weight and comes in 36h. That'll be my next build. Option would be A23 with OC rear.

As above, TB-14 in polished or hard anodized.
Black anodized rims with a brake track look pretty rubbish, especially when they're quite deep (25mm or more). Would look dreadful on that Serotta.

How wide is the TB 14?

I love the way the hard anodized TB14s look but don’t like the look when the anodozing begins to wear which apparently is unavoidable

Eye of the beholder, definitely.
I think that black rims with a brake track look perfectly fine, with silver/silver/silver hubs/spokes/nipples, black/black/black hubs/spokes/nipples, or any combination of those.
What looks really rubbish to me on any hub/spoke/nipple/rim (regardless of rim depth, bicycle frame, etc.) combo are "gumwall/skinwall/tanwall/etcwall" tires....
;)

I agree with that. Although I think they're acceptable on shallow alloy rims, providing they're attached to a bike made from Columbus tubing, with a level top tube and a level stem.
