Happy Birthday to a real gentleman with wonderful values. As I always say on birthdays- Many miles of safe and enjoyable cycling for you.

I just want to remind you Dave, that you just turned 65. I will be 66 in December, so I expect, out of respect for your elders, for you to call me Mr. Sandy in the future. :)

Hi Dave, many happy returns to you. Hey, how about turning over a new leaf and going for Campagnolo on some of your new projects! Oh, the Legend is nearing completion. I was out of my gord, and I had the head tube increased to 1 1/8. Serotta did an awesome job.

Mr Dave, I join with Mr Sandy and our other friends in wishing you a very, very happy birthday. May you have 650 more to ride your bike as much as you like! Take care! Enjoy! Hoist a few! Pop a cork! Do whatever the heck you want, you're old enough for adult beverages! And anything else you want! Yikes!

My cockles have been warmed (can I say that here?) by you all.

65 is sort of a major milestone, I am now officially an "Old Guy" and eligible for all sorts of 'senior' discounts at restaurants., movies, incontinent supply houses and other fun places.

This place and its' inhabitants have kept me amused, excited , informed, interested, angry, perplexed, educated, on the straight and narrow and laughing . My interest in bicycles originated on the original Serotta forum in 2000 and I bought my first Serotta (an Atlanta) from a forumite in 2001. (It's been all downhill from there. :D)

So to celebrate my birthday, and to honor you guys, I went out to the Washington/Idaho Centennial trail and rode a mile for every year, 65. Thanks for helping me to do so.
