Overkill?
New to cross -
I'm looking at a bike - it's a frame i'd like, but is tricked out in DA, which is bringing the asking price up. Should I run DA?
If not, I figure I can counter with an offer equal to frameset + Ultegra.
What do you guys think?

Nothing wrong with DA for cross. You'll just be breaking a more expensive part when it blows up.

D/A is cool, though not needed, on a 'cross bike. Do what you like!

haitian national team issue:
Lightweight aluminum 22.5" road bike frame
Alloy calipers and alloy brake levers
Hi-profile alloy Vitesse racing rims
Shimano 21-speed derailleur
700 C hi-performance tires
Alloy water bottle cage
Shimano Revo shifters
Alloy crank
i'd go for revo shifters instead of dura-ace myself.

I hope the new HSG line comes with a kickstand like that GMC.
