I saw this earlier and literally said wow out loud.

It might actually be worth that I dunno. It’s really a beautiful amazing bike in fantastic condition.

You should see the rest of the bikes this shop is selling on CL

The owner always has some nice vintage NOS going thru his shop.

Wouldn't be surprised if he got the asking or close to for that beautiful DeRosa.

"Custom (Eric Parker) milled and shaved Campy hubs with Mavic Gel 280 Tubulars."

What is the purpose of doing that to the hubs? Seems over the top.

It really is a gorgeous De Rosa but I don't even see late 70s De Rosas priced that high. Price ceiling seems more like 3k tops.

My wife has the same bike but with a different build. I hadn't seen another one like it before now.

That one looks about my size, we could be matchy matchy.

Going to save a pic of this one and use that color/decal color as a repaint of a frame sometime down the road. Just stunning.

Lovely, but...optimistic pricing, methinks.

Beautiful bike. Impressive inventory too.

I need a Campagnolo 50th Anniversary group for a longer term project but afraid to ask the asking price given the price on everything else...

Wow! This is essentially my dream De Rosa. My size as well! However, it's WAY more than I'd be willing to spend (by about 2X!).

Totally agree - I have that bike in the Sammontana scheme and it's a great looker and ride, but not 4k worth. I'd just find a beat up one and get velocolour to repaint it.

My buddy has a 53cm version of that frame with a 50th Anniversary Campy group on it.

The seat tube came unbrazed from the bottom bracket too many years ago. So it sits in his basement doing nothing. I keep telling him to either repair it or throw it out.
