It was interesting to see which pictures Dale took at the show,
versus his young shop guys!

MOULTON!There's a Moulton AM at MoMA, I've heard. Have you ever seen it, manet?

I liked the IF CJ Track...

Next was the Crumpton Track and the new Seven...

Also the Parlee TT frame and one of the Z3s on display had a special place in my heart

I forgot this gorgeous DeSalvo (http://www.cyclesdeoro.com/Interbike/2006/DB/photos/photo131.html).

And I'll admit that I think the Ibis Mojo (http://www.cyclesdeoro.com/Interbike/2006/DB/photos/photo128.html) is pretty cool (nice headtube (http://www.cyclesdeoro.com/Interbike/2006/DB/photos/photo130.html)).

The Moulton at MoMA is an AM2 from the Seventies. It's not in great shape, and has foam grips(!), but apparently the AM2 is a bit of a rarity.

I have an AM 2. It looks cool and it is a real chore to ride.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything, but i find the seat cluster on that frame
to be like an unfinished design idea. The paint just highlights the fact that
the stays don't flow into the front triangle, and the seat lug just looks
completely out of place.

Just my thoughts, your milage may vary, my head may be up my arse.

Max bikes take a lot of effort to build, or so I'm told.

I savvy what you're saying, but the seat cluster is always a challenge on those bikes and no matter what you do, it's hard to pull off a clean look, which is probably why the MX Leaders didn't use that lug. To my eye, Mike's approach looks better than many I've seen.

BTW, Mike built that bike for the show to sell which it did, first day. The lugs are stock MAX without decoration. Still a beautiful bike.

No, those beers taste like warm piss and being unable to drink even one is why they're less filling.
