Campagnolo Shamal vs Eurus

Looking for a new set of wheels for a Chorus/SR build I will be doing soon.
Im not looking for carbon wheels as much as I like the bora 35 clinchers.
I am looking at these two wheelsets in clincher and am wondering what is the difference between these two wheels.
Weight is close,lacing looks the same,price is close,so what are the advantages of one over the other?

I'm sure that if you search you will find many of these threads, but, as you wrote, pretty minor differences in general:

Shamal hubs have the carbon center; Eurus are full-alloy.
Shamal have USB bearings; Eurus have steel.
The Shamals are slightly wider than Eurus: 22mm vs 20mm.
Shamals weigh +/- 10-20g less.
Whatever $ difference you can find.

They are far more similar than they are different. I'm not even sure why the Eurus are still in the Campagnolo line-up, since apparently a fair amount of buyers skip them altogether and either go with Shamal for the hubs/bearings/etc. or with Zonda for the much less $ and the steel spokes.

I have a rear eurus tubular and the wheel is fantastic, never been able to try the shamal so I cant tell. IMO you could consider the neutron ultra aswell.

Those 3 wheelsets are just perfect.

I own the Shamals and there absolutely wonderful! I race these Shamals and not only do they spin smooth/fast there super strong. I have just over 10k miles on them without truing once. As far as Eurus there also great wheels all are strong bomb proof as they say

For 100g more the Zondas make more sense to me. They have steel spokes and cost a lot less.

Yep, to be honest to myself and everyone else I can't tell any difference from my one set of Shamals and the many sets of Zonda/Fulcrum 3's I have. They all seem to ride the same and the cheaper, heavier wheels have been on the bikes I set all my PR's and Strava sprint KOM's last year.

I have a set of Eurus 2 way fit. I run them tubeless....great wheels.

Yes....I also prefer the Zonda's over the aluminum spoked wheels. Any good wheel builder can fix the Zonda's, or at least get you back on road while you order the campy spokes.
