The Paul Neo-Retro are nice, but Bruce Gordon's look like the ne plus ultra of cantilever brakes! Expensive though, at $149 each.

They are not titanium (as the ones displayed at the NAHBS were), but anodized CNC-machined aluminum.

very elegant, but may make for a tough remount atmo.

Is that a That 70's Show reference? Wasn't that Fes, as in foreign exchange student?

They're beautiful...but I think I'm too much of a klutz to have sharp points on my bike like that.

But I WANT those cable hangers!

$2000+ for a bike frame? At some point things just go to far and get carried away. Get real!

I've ordered mine. They're wicked cool!

Wonder how I'd look in a Fez!

At least for now. But when the sun gets lower on the horizon, all bets are off.

p.s. I just watched the Cycle Smart cyclo-cross video and saw Adam Myerson riding a nice-looking Zanconato. (I've probably seen about 4 Zank cross frames in total. Each one was very impressive.)

Thank you, sir! Adam's old bikes are still being pounded into the ground by a second owner. He went all pro and stuff and got some ultra-sweet Pegs.

I do like the light. Another light on the back of commuter can not hurt.

Actually Zank, Adam is not on a Peg this year but a new Merckx cross frame which is a sweet ride itself.
I assume he will have it out this weekend in Gloucester.

cool. Yeah, he told me about the new bikes for this season. They sound sweet.

Will you be out at Gloucester? Be sure to say hi!

I will be offering them with rounded ends - I like the points, but I understand the pointed ends might be less than "Ideal" for Cyclocross racing.
I might offer them "only rounded" or also with the points. My brake web page is:
http://bgcycles.com/brakes.html

I will shortly have a web page up with pictures of both versions so you can Vote on your preference.
Regards,
Bruce Gordon

Mine are going on my rock & road-ish touring-ish bike so ideally, could you incorporate a bottle opener on them nearish the post? I like to stay properly hydrated on longish rides. Yes, I'm serious.

Don't you have a Swiss Army Knife in your tool kit? Get the right model, and you can have a can opener, bottle top opener and corkscrew, too: everything you need to get fed and properly hydrated on longish rides.

People have commented on the "Points".
I have decided to put it up to a "Vote" of the people.
Go to my web link and cast your vote for the "Pointy ones" or the "Round ones"
http://bgcycles.com/brakevote.html

Also, you can order your brakes from the first production run!!
Any questions - give me a call.

Bruce Gordon
