Has anyone had any experience with Pro Cycling magazine? I have purchased only one issue and wonder if they have more than gerbel food for roadies. For example, lenghty essays by people who know what they are writing about.

No, only a (very) sporadic nugget from time to time to break up what is normally a sea of ads and pictures that all look strangely the same. Stick to Cycling Plus, Tour (if you read German) or Le Cycle (if you can puzzle through French) for anything with real reports and testing. Dave N.

dnovo's recommendation of cycling plus a while ago got me to subscribe. the first issue recently came, and yep, it's good. (thanks, dave.) i'm not as down on the other mags as some folks are. no, they aren't great, but i'm a cycling junkie, and any fix for me is better than none. i find both british mags, cycle sport and pro cycling, to be good for a few hours of diversion. why the heck not?
