Does anybody know the difference between these two on PayPal:
Money Received
Payment Received
Unfortunately my Google-Fu did not find an answer.

This is just a guess, but if you sent “ family and friends “ that’s probably interpreted as money received vs payment...

I'm pretty sure that one is sent by 'friends and family' and the other's the usual PP payment
...but that's an educated guess based on how the site treats the transactions

I have never received a F/F payment and not sure if I just got one, so I am trying to figure this one out and thought someone here would know.
I received the full amount I asked for and PayPal shows it as "Money Received". No fee was charged.

That means it probably was F/F, but I did once receive some money without a fee that I never understood. Definitely "payment received" is for goods, and a fee was charged.
