View Full Version : Market value for a NOS 2016 Bianchi Infinito CV Di2?

So last year, I helped someone I worked with at the time, buy a year old Bianchi Infinito CV U-Di2 but it stayed in the box. Over the winter, I waited for the go-ahead to build it but that never came and now I'm being asked to flip it.

Considering it's technically pre-owned and looking at the blue book, this model, in excellent condition, would go for approximately $2500 but since this is BNIB, what should I expect to get for it?

50% original MSRP seems about the norm for eBay. But hard to say since Bianchi are not as well known as before..

About $3k if not less? That's gonna hurt.

It might hurt more if it is an odd size.

It hurts to hear but about 50% of msrp. I got a 2015 Infinito CV new in the box in 2016 off of Ebay for almost exactly 1/2 of msrp. Mine is a 61cm so that might have hurt the price a little. Mine sold in August which is probably better than February.

It is a 50 which isn’t great but also not a hard to sell size I think.

The biggest problem when selling stuff like that is that you are competing with store new with a full warranty for the same value or a little bit more. Try at one price and wait a little bit, the lower the price... price is the thing that will get that frame or bike off your house. Way too much offer moving around you know.

sell it for $75 below the lowest price you can find on the internet. It is NEW and used, mention that as many times as possible in the ad.

The $3500 for a frameset was always an inflated price. A 2018 complete bike with Ultegra has an msrp of $3800.

FWIW the Infinito is one of the best riding frames I have ever had. I prefer it over my Look 585, Merckx Team SC, and to be honest over my Ottrott because it is a slightly better fit.
