Looking at a Euclid crank and the 1991 catalog lists 124, 132, and 140 spindles for it with 132 standard. Guessing the 132 would allow enough clearance for most frames, so I probably should start there. Wondering if there's anything out there these days in that length, reasonably priced, and ISO. Thinking I might try a 123 JIS and see how it fits.

Is it going on a MTB or a road bike? If it's the later then you can almost certainly get away with a shorter spindle.

While it's not the same crank I have a Centaur MTB, which Campy says needs a 124 or 132 BB, on two different road bikes. I use it as a double on one with a 102 BB and as a triple on the other with a 115.5 BB. The arm is quite close to the fixed cup on the 102 but it hasn't been a problem while the 115.5 has good clearance.

There are a number of 124 and 132 options on eBay, but folks are asking $80 for just the spindle. Actually was considering the crank for a road bike. Surprised you can get by with a 102, even with a Centaur which took 8 mm narrower spindles. I have plenty of 102-111-155.5 options here, so guess it makes sense to start there.
