I know there are only a few of us, but I just figured out a much faster way than using a mobile wifi hotspot to get my files up on the road. I used a micro-usb to USB connector on my Galaxy S7 and then logged into Training Peaks via a browser. Decline its offer to go to the app and then add a ride and choose upload file - the PC8 shows up as a mass storage device called "SRM." Pick the last activity in the Activity folder and upload it. Works for Strava too.

I was using my phone as a mobile hotspot but even on fast wifi, the PC8 is deathly slow. I wonder what ever happened to the Bluetooth they promised us in 2014? Even a double century uploads from a Garmin in seconds.

Great tip. Interested to see if I can do the same with an iPhone/IOS. Thanks!
