How great is that? Heading out at 5:30, riding in my little cone of light, scaring foxes into the bushes, seeing the sun rise, losing all feeling in my feet, running in front of a 15mph tailwind, doing school bus sprints... you can't beat it.

Still pretty wet this am, though - i'm right around the corner from you.

I was out in the fog very early last week - it's very surreal, riding in your own narrow tunnel of light. The fog reminded me of driving in a snowstorm - i could see the beads in the air rushing towards me.

Love that early morning ride time! Total Zen!

I managed 50 but I didn't have to be at work until 1:30pm. :)

A beautiful day here in the Twin Cities...temp in the lower 70s and no wind...sunshine and little traffic while most others were at work. These are the kind of days I dream about when the cold days of winter arrive which will be all too soon. Enjoy it while you can, people!
