:crap: Copper bracelets, magnets in shoes, now sunglasses to hold your nostrils open with magnets. Just put metal stickers on the outside of your nose. Marginal, or imaginary, gains anyone?

As someone with a deviated septum, I think you may have found my new daily wear sunglasses. And they're not garish at all- sticker on my nose with a magnet in it, huge frames with giant 100% logos on the side. Smooth.

Remember when they marketed BreatheRight strips, which may work to reduce snoring for someone but not most people, to athletes for opening your nasal package for "increased intake volume"? Yes, no? I'm sure 100%'s radical new design will have an similar long term impact on athletics.

As for PS using them, I'm sure he is being payed well for his endorsement. Now where did I put those Powercrank-Xs, I know they were helping me get stronger and faster.

Combine these with those augmented reality shades somebody posted recently and you might have absolute, complete, total crap....

I could have sworn that the whole pulling-the-nose-open thing was debunked years ago.

I don't know about you, but when I'm on the rivet I'm breathing through my mouth full stop. My throat is the bottleneck, not my mouth.

Does this mean he's broken things off with Oakley? You don't usually see guys move from the deep-pocket sponsors to the small-time ones.

Sagan has been away from Oakley for some time now. I think it's his second or 3rd year with 100%.

Their next product is a cycling jersey with magnets in the collar to open your throat. ;)

Actually, you'll be ingesting large quantities of high-gauss indium magnets. These will serve a number of purposes, all of which are currently getting patented.

They will allow you to stick your race number to your body without needing safety pins.

They will provide a mechanical advantage as they attract magnets in the lower hem of your bib shorts.

They will cluster in your lower digestive tract and the bulk will cause you to assume a more efficient hip curvature.

They will interfere with the bike computers on bikes of your riding companions.

They will enable Strava to reveal your presence as you ride your gravel bike into Area 51.

For sure! I always thought those nose strips were pure placebo. Any nasel obstructions are well behind your nostrils.

Nose magnets, no you are looking in the wrong direction! Aero socks are where my speed originates!

"The end result, 100% claims, is improved breathing through widened nasal passages."

I rode with someone that was testing them. He said you can't do snot-rockets with them on. I'm not riding if I can't blow snot out of my nose.

Everyone knows it's more aero to huff in air from your newly widened nasal passages than it is to ride with your mouth agape.

So how is this better than breathe right strips that do the exact same thing?

They still sell them and found then useful before I got my deviated septum fixed. Not so much use afterwards, though.
