Bought a supernova E3 dynamo for a bike with a Kasai front hub. I had it hooked up on first bike had trouble getting stand light to work - then finally it did, with fidgeting. Even though i have no clue what i did, just started working after i disconnected and reconnected everything.

Moved the light to another bike - same thing again stand light will not work now at all. I futzed with it again to no gain, still has no capacitor function / stand light, even for a second once wheel stops spinning. I disconnected, reconnected, checked all wires, no arcing, ???

just running front light

any dynamo experts out here?

thanks

Maybe obvious, but how long did you spin it? Have you tried riding it? It's only a 5 minute capacity but it has to build up first.
