OT: Best Podcast App for Android

Just looking for some suggestions for a new podcast app for Android. Been using Podcast Go for a while and it is so slow and buggy lately.

i've been using pocket casts since i made to switch to android. works great. hands down better than the free apps and i haven't tried any of the other paid apps so i can't compare but it certainly beats syncing my old iphone

My SqueezeBox Radio won't stream podcasts from https hosts (like relay.fm), so I had to find an Android replacement. So far I'm pretty impressed with Podcast Addict, very configurable but easy to use.

+1 on pocket casts. I've been using the paid version for years.

+1 for Pocket Cast. Well worth the money.

I used to use the free stitcher but the interface was getting too cludgy - I found I accidentally tapped on the ads more than I wanted.

For a free podcast app, I have found nothing better than Podcast Addict. I use it all the time to download podcasts, and listen to them when I'm flying.

I'm fairly new to podcasts, but I've had no issues with Castbox.

I noticed a significant increase of people who have started liking podcasts in the period from 2018 up to this date. Expect Apple Podcasts and Spotify, people use Stitcher, Tunein, or even RadioPublic. But recently I've discovered another app that deserves some recognition. I'm talking about the JioSaavn app for podcasts, music, and radio which amazed me with its features. I saw it the first time at https://www.apkdojo.com/jiosaavn and for some particular reason decided to download it. Good app, but I look forward to the new updates.
