I am going out tomorrow to look at new bikes. I am a 60 yr old male whose been riding since 1981 (off and on). Current ride is a self built GT aluminum frame with full Ultegra. Looking for a more compliant ride. I welcome opinions on the Fierte and other bikes tested when you got the Fierte and what made you pick the Fierte.

Thanks, Mike Scott

You are the same age as I am and the key here is FIT (to the bike).

THe Fierte is a very good bike and has a very nice ride. (as long as it fits).

ALso as DBRK has said numerouse times - - 25mm tires.

As to wheels there are many options but a very good combination is is an OPEN 4 MAVIC with the 25mm.

If I can be of any assistance send me a PM.

Have fun shopping,

PETE
