Since NAHBS Hartford is only a month away I figured I would share some sneak peeks of what we will have there. I haven't even seen everything yet so I won't have full pictures until the frames arrive.

We will have multiple bikes for clients, shops and for magazines there as well as a few bikes in other booths including Hed and FSA.

Make sure to stop by.

This is really well done and immediately made me think of the JPS team paint scheme even before I scrolled down. Looks like it will be great looking stuff!

Big thumbs up...hope NAHBS comes west again..

Thanks. We will have 3 or 4 bikes with campy kits on it. My Exemplar, the PEZ bike and 2 customs from Britain.

Here's more pics of the PEZ kit. A Campagnolo Potenza group that was sent to Australia, to CycleRetro. Mirror polished and engraved.

Thanks. The shop, Savile Road had the idea. Our PaintWorks guys came up with everything else based on the F1 paint design. It's actually a bit of a surprise for everyone over here including the shop. We sent him the 2 we came up with and that's it. He loved it and is letting our guys loose on the design. Should be amazing when done. Only down side is we can't paint the graphics on the components like we planned. Not enough time.

With a whopping 10 days till I leave for Hartford, Everything arrived! DHL, I LOVE THEM!!! They actually delivered on Sunday!

Here is one of the bikes we're going to have in Hartford. So for those not attending, keep an eye out for the sneak peeks. Cause I have 10 bikes going and a ton of pictures.

This is an Excel Disc frame. 6/4 titanium. Flat mount brakes. It'll have a SRAM Rival 1x kit with custom Hope carbon wheels. Hope floating rotors, Hope cassette. Hope disc brake calipers, headset and seat collar.

It's is incredibly cool with a ChromIllusions fade with Houndstooth graphics!!! We even did the fork, bar, seatpost and stem. As well as a Houndstooth ti anodized graphic on the frame.

This one, I am really hoping will do well in the competitions. It's our Enigma Extensor XCr frame.

We did a polished stainless steel frame with a metallic candy red clear over it. Polished the head lugs, cable stops, front derailleur hanger, seat collar, titanium headbadge and stays. The paint has a really cool honeycomb effect on it that fades light to dark.

This frame will have a Campagnolo Record kit on it that we did the same paint and effects too. So kind of how my Exemplar had the candy blue clear. We even did the hub shells in the same color!

Thanks. Our guys are insanely good. I have a bunch more to show off since some people aren't able to go to NAHBS.

The candy red was my idea for this year. The honeycomb was our lead painter Dave's. I like that they can take mine and my clients/shops ideas and make them reality. They are super skilled.

How do you get the honeycomb shape in there? Can you work with any shapes?

Agree. That red looks friggin' awesome.

How do you get the honeycomb shape in there? Can you work with any shapes?

Everything is done with stencils. We don't use decals. It's multiple layers of very special paints. We use a multi-pigment paint similar to the DuPont ChomIllusions. It changes colors based on the pigments in it and the angles of light. The Houndstooth one has a similar paint effect. But the red one, has a metallic candy red clearcoat overtop. It gives it an extra layer and extra effect. It's very cool.

And yes. We can do other shapes. What did you have in mind?

Another of the NAHBS Hartford bikes.

This one is our Echelon frame. Made in the UK with 3/2.5 titanium, we mirror polished it and gave it a biscuit and cream colorway. Even on the seatpost, stem and bars. This will have a custom leathered saddle and bar tape that matches the brown paint. The graphics on the frame are the polished titanium underneath.

This frame will be reviewed by PEZ Cycling News after the show. It'll be dressed in a mirror polished Campagnolo Potenza kit and Campagnolo Bora wheels.

The red one? What size do you need? I'll have to check on the geometry on this one. It does have to go to Britain for the BeSpoke show where it's entered for a couple categories as well. It'd be great to win at both shows.

I have wanted to buy a few of your frames, great deals, cool paint, but they where all in sloping.

The first one I posted, the red frame is a horizontal toptube. So is the Esprit I have posted. But the main reason sloping is so common is sizing. Yo can fit more people with fewer sizes as well as it offers more standover, taller headtubes for better fitting comfort and they are a bit stiffer.

I am not a huge fan of sloping frames. At least not hugely sloped frames. My Exemplar only has a 5.3 degree slope. Most compact frames have 8 or more depending on the size.

We'd of course happily make any of our frames with a horizontal toptube. The red one is our Extensor which usually has a sloping toptube. So we can and do make them. Our Esprit comes stock that way tho.

I am not sure on the others I have. I will be showing some 54's at NAHBS but two of them are sold already. But we always have cool deals. Titanium or steel? Which would you like?

I posted more in process pics on Facebook. Almost done tho. I'll have good outside pics when it's done.

No worries on the Union Jack one. You'd be surprised how many we paint like that. Or in various versions of that design. It's pretty popular.

Sneak peak #4.

So this, this is our Enigma Elite HSS. Made with Columbus Spirit triple butted tubing. Same as the Gulf Racing and American Jack we showed last year. This one, totally designed by our painters. And I love it. I really like orange so this, with its metallica candy orange is awesome!

It's even cooler that they did a part gloss clearcoat / part matte clearcoat on the frame. If you look at the pictures of the cable adjusters, you can see the transition. Instead of using a Columbus decal, they painted the Columbus Dove on the frame. I really like the looks of this frame.

They also used some stainless steel fittings. The brake bridge, front derailleur tab and dropouts. I love that they brushed the metal. Even brushed the bottle cage bolts to match. Brushed the titanium headbadge to match also.

All those little details just make things so special.

It's totally a production/producible bike. We've done certain bits of it before. Just never put all of it together before into one bike.

We've done the honeycomb before, the polished before and the candy metallic clear before. My exemplar had the candy metallic and the painted components.
the honeycomb we've done for a few people. And the polished, we did it on the PEZ bike.

Its a candy orange metallic clear. It gives i depth and some serious pop. The colors we use are part of there RAL Colorcodes. I can ask the exact number. And they can be converted to other companies codes.

quattroThe video is from D2R2 from two years back. They are all gravel bikes. I rode a Pegoretti and there were two Kirks,1 Firefly,1 Moots,1 Gunnar, a Jamis and a Taylor in our group. All very nice bikes! 5 steel, 2 ti and 1 carbon.

this green/orange bike is hot, is it 55 and in need of a home?

It is a stock 55cm frame. It needs to head to Britain for the BeSpoke Bristol show in April. But it could be available if you're interested.

sales pal, even though I didn't attend the show personally but looking by the pictures that yourself and others took, I just want to acknowledge the tremendous effort and incredible show that you and the enigma pals had put up at this year's NAHBS. Keep up the good work!

I thoroughly enjoyed the event - amazing bikes. I was even more amazed at the accessibility of the builders - never imagined that I would be able to converse so readily with the likes of C. Gaulzetti, B. Serotta, C. Calfee and P. Olivetti.

Didn't get a chance to post yet since I've been back from NAHBS, but congratulations to Enigma and sales guy (nice to meet you!) on their well-deserved success. The bikes were beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. Loved the color-matched brake cable donuts.

Yep! I didn't know they were doing that this year. It was a super cool surprise. It's engraved too.

Thanks! I know it's stupid but I dig finishing the bikes. Even with something as small as cable ends, donuts and bottle bolts.

Glad everyone got to see the bikes in person. And thanks for the kind words. Hope everyone enjoyed the show.

I am heading to the studio this week for pictures. The bike has to head to Britain for the BeSpoke Bristol show in April. So I'll get pics before it heads out.

Sounds good, I look forward to the pics. Hopefully I will get to meet you as well next year when NAHBS is in my backyard at Sacra-tomato... :)

Congrats on the Campy award. Beautiful bike!

Question... is the Campy cork screw true to size of the one that is offered to the public at around $200? Just asking as it looks huge.

Cheers!
