CritUSA -> Donnelly cycling

Several years ago, I used to buy my tires from CritUSA (Dan Donnelly Imports) and I think I originally found out about them back in the days of rec.bicycles newsgroup. Somewhere along the line, I stopped getting price list updates from them and I moved onto other sources for tires.

Then I saw Ben S referenced Donnelly tires in one of his messages and I didn't realize that this had evolved into their own brand of tires.

Anyone tried their tires?

They have trading under the clement name for 6 years or so and just switched few months back.

They're the same as the 'Clement' tires that have been around for years and are very popular, especially in cyclocross and gravel realms. Nice quality stuff at affordable prices, and treads for any condition imaginable.

I used to buy from crit usa as well. He used to have good prices and stock of Campy. From memory I think he was connected to a LBS, that his son owned? Not so sure that this is the same person. Crit usa still has an eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Dan-Donnelly-Imports

As I posted above, I believe that these are two separate entities. Dan Donnelly (AKA Dan Donnelly Imports and Crit USA) is New Jersey based and sells "ASSOS CHAMOIS CREAM, Veloflex, TUFO, Schwalbe, Hutchinson, Continental & Michelin Tires + CAMPAGNOLO COMPONTENTS,WHEELS & CORKSCREWS" according to his eBay store. Donnelly Cycling is a Colorado-based LLC selling their own tire brands.

As pointed out above by GregL, they're not related. Don Kellogg and Dan Donnelly aren't the same person.
