OP doing a PSA on clinchers?!? what's the world coming to!?!

seriously though, those look sweet. my favorite crap weather tire. wouldn't work with my fenders on in that size, but I could see using them for fair weather rides that encounter the occasional gravel/dirt road. they handle that stuff well, even in 25mm size.

I am using these on a road bike under caliper brakes. I would say they are a true 32, even on the small side. So far so good, but their PSI range seems very high IMO. I am running around 70/75.

Anyone have experience with these and Conti GP 4000 28mm? How do they compare in terms of ride and sizing?

I have both tires.
They are close to the same size. Near 32mm.
Ride quality is very different. 4K II rides like butter, 4 seasons is pretty so-so, especially in that size. Feels slow too. But more puncture resistance.

It is raining here today- About to do a ride on my fender bike- I still have my 4K II on it- Hope I don't flat ;)

Conti also (inexplicably) doesn't offer these or their 700x28 offerings in tanwall (what they call "transparent") -- a dealbreaker in my book.

Ridden GP 4000 many times in rain here in Pac NW. No flats not even cuts in tire so far.

Mine on an open Pro measure more than 30 mm. They ride fine and roll good but I don't really put tires to a test anymore. I wonder if a super light tube might make a difference.

What everybody says, the GP4k in 28mm is huge already!

Ditto on that I run them on a "skinny" 17mm internal width rim and they measure near 30mm. Closer to 33mm on my HED Belgium+ great tire and roll really well. I've had good luck with the GP 4K on light gravel.

The 4 seasons worked better in the smaller (23 and 25c) sizes for me. When they got big you really started to notice the tough casing....little too like a garden hose. But no flats. If glass is a problem on the roads you ride I'd lean more towards a tougher casing just from a cost reducing perspective, the GP 4ks get pricey to replace.

No flats in 4 hours of rain/mist that never stopped.

I should put some rain-ish tires on but the GP4K II ride soo nice-
