Is anyone running a 52/39 setup? I'm currently running a mid compact 52/36 but I'd like to throw a 39 small ring on there. It's really flat here and the only time I've ever used the 36 is when by myself and I didn't want to fight through the wind. A 1x setup could actually be more practical, but I want to maitain a 2x on this bike. I just figure with as little as I use it, I may actually use the 39 more. Any thoughts?

Should work. I swapped a 50 onto a 53/39 and it’s great.

This is the greatest thing about the 4-arm cranks; custom ratio creation.

Plug and play, no issue or mod needed. The whole ‘match the right letter’ small and big rings means nada. Put on a 39t, go ride.

Thanks. I'll swap it over today. Unfortunately I have to wait for the roads to thaw before I can get back out. I can handle the cold, not the ice!
