Odd question, but a friend is interested in a custom Ti frame that was ordered but never built up or ridden. The original guy ordered it with removable canti posts and Paragon style sliding ends so that either canti or disc were options. Chain stays adjustable from 425mm-445mm. My friend is only interested in disc and thru axle. With 12x142 Paragon inserts the actual width would be 139.5mm.

In practice is this going to be an issue with hub bearing wear or rotor or axle threading alignment or anything of that sort? I'd assume any rotor issues would be resolved with caliper mount adjustment. More concerned about long term hub wear, I guess.

If I do simple math, that's just 2.5mm difference right? So divided by 2 we're talking 1.25mm each side. I doubt there are going to be any issues
