I'm looking for a new weather app for my mobile devices. The Weather Channel used to be just fine, but they've bogged it down with so many ads and their videos that it's always slow to load. So what do you guys/gals use?

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll have to check these out...especially the link from the angry one.

National Weather Service (NOW)

Weather Underground.

I use it too but it's gotten weird the past couple years. Sometimes it won't let me enter airport codes and I think that their radar has gotten less good over time. It also seems laggy and bloated.

Weather dot com doesn't really seem any better.

I now use an app called Hi-Def Radar which builds a composite radar image from NOAA. It's decent but it exaggerates precipitation. But better exaggerated than the other way around I guess. It's a decent weather radar.

Weather Underground has nice way to display weather over a span of 5 or 10 days. Visually it’s a neat way of seeing weather. But I’m finding that Accuweather is, um, more accurate.;)

Second on Dark Sky. Pretty accurate, down to the 1/2 mile or better range...

I really like Dark Sky for local forecasts. It helped me several times on a tour this year when the sky threatened and I was deciding to take shelter or continue riding.

Windy is just amazing.

This. Terrific for fishing and windsurfing as well.

Hi-Def Radar has saved my ass both on and off the water for several years now. Nice to be able to see serious weather approaching in real time.

***orecast. Absolutely, positively have to try it. And don't curb the language in the settings. You'll smile at every thunderstorm.

Edit: Sorry. The screen won't let me write it out quite right. Just collapse the following:

Dumb app name, but pretty cool idea: http://www.epicrideweather.com

Maps out the weather based on RideWithGPS or other routes you have planned. Great for brevets or event type rides where you need to figure out what the weather will be like along the route.

Dark Sky. But I just put Windy (the red one, not the blue one) on my phone and it IS pretty cool.
