I asked my two-year-old what he wanted to do on the first day of the year. His immediate response:

"I go to school see kids find a feather eat sandwiches in the classroom play playground come home eat snack!"

(Can you tell who idolizes Older Brother and can't wait to go to school?)

Every year on Jan 1. we get together and do a ride to start the new cycling season .... well this year I couldn't do it, It's too cold for me (or I was lazy) -4F, and feels like -20F. But 5 brave souls did it (4 guys and a lady) ........ they suffered/lasted for about an hour and clocked in around 16 miles.
