OT: Mazatlan?

Hey, all, I am taking advantge of a frequent flyer deal and going to Mazatlan, Mexico next week. :banana:

Anybody know of fun things to do there, cycling related or otherwise?

Going solo, for all the reasons one would go solo (no S.O. presently,only so many miles to go around).

I've been to Mazatlan many a time. I'd advocate rolling around the city (and tourist zone) on a beach cruiser for sure. As far as more serious road riding goes, I have ridden down there and found the locals to be very nice and they seem to give you far more room than the average US driver. Mostly, I recommend drinking lots of beer, riding jet skis and that sort of stuff. I believe the Pacifico brewery is just outside of town, so that's the cold-one of choice.
