SRAM Etap short cage RD and 11-30 Cassette

RDs occasionally will work with a slightly larger cassette than its spec’ed with. Has anyone tried the Etap RD-short cage with a 11-30 cassette?

On my Ritchey Breakaway, that's what I ride. 50-34, with an 11-30 in back. Tried to add the Wolftooth link, but it didn't need it. #noissues

I have a Cervelo R5 and am running the short cage eTap with and 11-32 cassette. No issues with shifting or noise. Only consolation I make is a conscious effort to not cross chain in the extreme big/big and small/small.

On my Breakaway Road, I tried 11-32 with short cage. No go. Even with the Wolftooth.

good to know this and glad I went with the wifli because I definitely want to run a 32 :eek:
