I managed to squeeze a 1 hour ride after coming back in Switzerland, and into our new house. I am so out of shape it is a shame, but however I had great pleasure in riding my new to me yellow Legend (ex-DBRK).
Anyway, a few pics of the scene and the ride.

Thinking of doing up a Legend Ti, tell me about this one, forks, etc. Thanks! Great paint job!

I last saw that frame in Douglas' garage. It looks much happier out in those beautiful mountains.

Loooks like many lifetimes worth of great cycling there.

That bike is in heaven. Seriously it looks great. Nicely balanced.

Last I saw the bike it was next to a wood pile I think. Much better.

Wow, your bike is almost identical to mine, Colorado Ti with matching steel fork. I'm suprised that we never crossed paths while you were living in Montreal, our bikes are hard to miss

You make me sick!!! I wish I were back there..... :crap:

Have fun while you are there because you will never again find riding as good as Switzerland.

You gotta'problem with my wood pile? Now the whole house is a wood pile...and hopefully before a hundred inches of snow it'll look a bit different.

The bike does indeed look great, better indeed than my iteration. My own new Legend, built with less stout tubes and a fork that takes a larger tire suits me and it's good to see this reach a beautiful home. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments guys.
The Legend is...a legend. I had wanted one since they came out in '93. The ride is very stable and the F1 fork tracks precisely. I need to fit a longer stem, but otherwise it is spot on. I need to chahge the handlebar for a classic bend.
When compared to my Colnago Master Ti with the large downtube, the ride has that magic carpet feeling of absorbing the smaller road irregularities and vibrations. The Legend being OS tubing everywhere, there is no lack in stiffness.
I wasn't sure about the color to start with but now that I have seen it in daylight and sunshine, I am so glad I got it. The yellow is very deep and the whole has a classy look that I wouldn't change. Only better than that would be, hmmm, a black Hors? We'll see.
As to the 1 hour ride only, well, I have put in about 10-15 rides in all in the last 15 months. Riding in Montreal is like going blindfolded at night the wrong way on a highway... So my fitness level is between a sloth and a medusa.

Riding in Montreal is akin to being in a combat zone! :crap:
