Fearful of Bad News

Ever since TDF, I have had a strange trepidation every morning when I get on the internet to read cycling news. I have this fear of finding out someone else might come back with a positive doping test.

I am glad that Vinokourov and Bettini both have gone through major racing events without hint of problem, and I hope this trend will continue.

Don't forget, essentially none of the Operation Puerto guys had tested positive. While some of them will get off, there's clearly something going on there. Negative dope tests don't convince me of squat.

I've had exactly the same feeling at times, like "Who will it be NOW?" . . .

If (or when) Sandy and Kevan test positive, then I may just have to end it all!
