I've been slammed at work and waited too long to buy a Christmas present for my client. Now I need to scramble for something that I can get shipped quickly.

He is a cyclist and we ride together after work, so I was thinking something for the bike. He is a good rider, but not necessarily a snob. He rides a Trek, both road and mountain.

Anything Mountain would be even better. A bunch of us just bought him his mountain bike as a 50th birthday present a few months ago and he is completely new to the sport.

Price range is $50 to $100. Any ideas?

This. Maybe even with a camera if the budget permits so.

Was going to mirror the above suggesting of a bell or light. Both good ideas.

You could also go with a jersey, cycling books if he is a reader.

One of my favorites is a clock made out of a wheel. Always thought those were pretty cool.

And from my sensitive side, maybe even a nick-nack for his desk. A sculpture of some kind. There are little trinkets like cycling cuff links, etc.

Get the bell, or a light if he has a bell.

The Spurcycle bell is a perfect gift.

for mtb, i recommend this one instead
https://www.amazon.com/TIMBER-Mountain-Bike-Bell-Bolt/dp/B01N1LVHRZ/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1513374708&sr=1-1&keywords=timber+bell

it has a lever you can toggle the bell on and off. on a trail, it's a better solution.
not as fancy, but more practical imo. plus prime shipping

If he’s like me, he could use some new tires. He just hasn’t gotten around to getting any for himself!

How about one of those owl or bird shaped bottle cages from PDW ?

They weigh a bit, but look pretty cool.

Jingle Bells. Get a bell. The Spurcycle is hip and the other bell has nice features. Can't lose. A gift subscription to BIKE magazine doesn't hurt either.

Or Bicycling. He dosent need to renew. Always the same magazine, every month, every year. They always have XX ways to XXXXXXX better, faster.

Buy them a beaucoup selection of bars and gels you purchase from the drugstore, vitamin store, etc. . It's kinda fun to go mad in the store and just grab one of everything! Maybe add a waterbottle to two, for variety.

If he is a mountain biker then I would suggest "The Racer" by Dynaplug. Its the best tubeless plug in the world and has saved me from hours of mess, pain and suffering.....

Good choice. I bought it for my nephew last year. He was going to let me read it when he was finished. Damn he's a slow reader.

Have you seen this video yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDgTdf7TpAo

The crankbrothers multitool is something that looks really really nice. Tried using one once and I've wanted it since.
