I showed up at my Saturday morning ride and the usual cast of characters are there but also somebody decked out in Saunier Duval kit on a Scott CR-1. What do ya know? Its Aaron Olsen. Pretty cool riding with him today. Stayed right with him on the climbs too. Not saying anything about our tempo though... :)

Very cool-wish I had showed up today but I was in a conference at the Hilton all morning.
I wouldn't have stayed with him on the climbs.

Very cool! This guy (http://www.chrislieto.com/) is here now - staying with a friend next door and putting in some serious training for the Kona Ironman next month.

Super nice guy and a real hammer pilot.

I rode with a friend I used to race with, John Tess. We haven't ridden together in 29 years. Had a great time on the roads we used to ride near Hillsboro and West Union Oregon. The area is totally unchanged due to some good planning by Washington County. It was very fun.

Here's a picture from 1977 of us riding the 6 day Madison Challenge at Alpenrose. I'm on the right side, throwing him. Man, the years are really going by!

I rode with myself today. Several Dorchester miles, but it was too early for the gangstas.

I wasn't even going to ride, until my wife shamed me into it. It was windy, which really hurt for the first third, slapped me around for the second third, and then pushed me home.

. . . Petersburgh Pass with my friend Eric today--52 miles. It rained. A lot. We got wet. A lot. Squishy toes are not fun.
