I give this guy credit for the attempt to nab the guy- with a belt full of gear and heavy clothes, but he'd do well to show up at a CX clinic and work on his dismount technique, maybe some bunny hop practice too while he's at it. Proper form, hand on the top tube, moto-style brakes (looks like he hit the front brake while off the saddle) and a gentle drop to the ground at speed and the bad guys will have a run for their money... :bike:

I don't get it. They have no problem racing through the streets at 100mph chasing a criminal in the car but they can't pull up to these guys on ATV's? Just throw some of those tire spikes on the ground and be done with it. Hit them in the pocket book.

I know a retired cop from the GWN that was a champion MTB and road racer. He would've nabbed the guy, in a friendly, but firm manner.
