Given the current sale, are they the best options for front and rear cameras? Have anyone used other combos that work as well?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the current sale, but I love my Fly6. I use it purely for incident recording during the commute, not for preservation and enjoyment of an epic ride after the fact.

I have no experience with the Fly12.

I can't comment on other options, but the version of the rear I have (second generation) still has issues with degradation of battery life.

I like my Fly6 too.

DCRainmaker just reviewed the new, updated models. The new Fly12 looks much more appealing than the old one.

I think the cyclic cameras are really good. Have both front n rear
There was a thread recently about the fly 12 for 169$ on amazon or similar just a couple of days ago.

Has anyone tried the drift innovation camera? It looks interesting, and does at have the headlight like the Cycliq.

Only three hours of recording time. The Cyclics provide six and seven.

I also use the fly 6 and it's great for a set it and forget it ootion. As far as actually capturing video or photos, that's when I use the GoPro. The fly 6 is only for post incident evidence, let's hope I never have to use it.

Yes that’s the big limit (battery life rather than recording time which is just size of the micro SD) on just about any other camera. I just went first ride today with the $169 Fly 12. I’ve been using the Fly 6 for about a year. I have a Garmin Virb Elite which almost fits the bill, and although better than most, still falls short on battery life. You can take spare batteries with you in the case of the Garmin though. It’s nice in that it overlays speed and elevation on the video.
