Hoping to get some info on 11-32 campy cassettes. Looks to me like centaur and potenza are available from campy and IRD makes one as well. It looks to me like the potenza is the nicest of the bunch, anyone have any experience with these? anything important I should know?

The hub is campy splined so the fact shimano 11-32 cassettes work also is meaningless, actually, the bike will be friction shifted so it is double meaningless.

11 speed?

And are you super attached to your rear wheel?

Have you ever friction shifted 11s before? I couldn't stand it.

No experience with the Centaur one but I have the Potenza 11-32 on one bike. No complaints. The gaps are almost all between the big sprockets which may or may not be what you’d prefer, but that seems to be common for all 11-32...

11 speed, I have no reason to go to shimano if the campy cassettes are fine and the hubs I am using are nice.

Yes, I friction shift 11 speed every day, almost all my bikes are friction shift 10 or 11 speed.

What RD are you using? I'd love to go 11 on my travel bike. Actually, I'd love Campy to come out with wireless shifting, but that's another dream...

campy 10 speed rear derailleurs work fine for this, I use them on shimano 11-32 cassettes on a couple bikes. again, friction shifting this.

Anyone know the difference between the above cassettes and the 32T cassette from the H11 disc groupset?

I'm running that on this:

And nothing at all is different other than the ratio versus anything else Campy...

running the potenza 11-32 here. no problems. i've got lots of wheels with campy hubs and i'm glad campy has jumped on board with wide range cassettes available. wish they were as cheap as 5800 cassettes, but still - they do shift well.

I recently picked up a Centaur 11-32 11 speed cassette. Took it out of the box to look at and thought it was fine. Haven't had a chance to use it yet as my 12-29 11 speed cassette is still working fine.

Whoa, looks like the price has dropped substantially, it is now $58.50!

Available in both 11-32 and 12-32! Good Luck!

I would definitely go with either of the Campy cassettes before the IRD. I've used a few of them in both Campy and Shimano and have not been very happy with either the shifting performance or noise. YMMV and all that.

I definitely am switching all my wheels to shimano but its good to know there is something "affordable" in that range as I still have 1 wheel that is campy. Now, do I want to spend $80 on that or get a freehub for that wheel.

Campy cassettes are just so expensive, you can can an chorus level ultegra cassette for less than the cheapest individual cog campy cassette. I really do like those ultegra 11-32 cassettes. Great value.

Good to know that Campy has a 12-32. I rarely use my 11 and would gladly switch it for something in the middle

that is what I mostly use but I do have a 105 and man, it performs as good as the ultegra.

sram cassettes however...

As far as I know, there are actually only two 11-32 from Campagnolo. One is the lower-end Centaur one and the other is the one that was introduced with Potenza but is the 11-32 they offer for all the Potenza and above levels. It’s actually called “Campagnolo” level in the price list / catalog. Build wise it seems basically Chorus level to me...

Plug and play, typical Campag high quality..'might' need a longer cage rear der depending on crankset, etc.

Friction shifters on 11s..you must have really precise fingers. :)

2018 will have Centaur be 11s, so expect cogsets to cost less but as has been mentioned, 11s Campag cogsets in the $70 range if ya look..

As an aside to the OP’s question, that bike/setup looks just about perfect!
