What are my options for 120, 10* modern stems?

Seatpost and bars are Zero100. I'm using a Superleggera stem at the moment, but I think I need more drop.

Easton and Pro PLT.

Give up a couple of degrees and get +8:

PRO Vibe, also. I had one on my CAAD this summer and it was nice. Stiff, decently light.

The old white graphics were really bad but came off easily with acetone. Doesn't look so bad anymore:

That Deda 8* might work. I'll keep it in mind, thanks.

I had the old one on my old rock lobster and it actually worked out OK, aesthetically because the graphics were white.

My new one has the same graphics so I don't need to be so particular with the graphics, but I would love if Deda made one that worked.

the superleggero is already 8 degrees. also 2 degrees over 110 or 120 mms amounts to next to nothing. it's 3 mm.

It's a big headtube.

I'm about 2cm higher than I am on my normal bikes with the same 6 or 8* stem.

I'm trying to avoid the "teepee" effect that a -12* or greater stem will give me with such an aggressively sloping top tube on the other side of the headtube/fork axis. I think 10* is my limit.

Yeah, if the TT is sloping and the stem is less than parallel to the ground it's not pretty to my eye.

As others have said, Easton and Pro. Both can be found fairly inexpensively at Competitive Cyclist at the moment. The EA90 is something like $30. The Pro Vibe is on sale too. Now 120 may be the issue.

FYI 2cm on headtube is quite alot on a similar sized frames so make sure both frames you are comparing use the same headset solution so that one is not an integrated version as that would affect your stack.

Edit: never mind i c you allrdy have the frame so i guess you know you need more drop, my bad.

have 'em both. the nice thing in favor of the PLT is that the clamp stack height is less than you typically find, giving you a little more +/- adjustability to the negative side. sometimes only a few mm gets you to *perfect*.

+1 for the PLT. I took acetone to the graphics and swapped for black ti bolts. Total weight is 124g for the 120mm

My kindhuman is at 165. That's with an integrated headset and a flush spacer. And I run a -6* on there. A Zero1. The rock lobster is 163 which comes out to about 185 or so with the king. It will definitely be a higher front end. We'll see if I can make it work.

This kind of comparison only really works if you're dealing with the same angles and BB drop, I'd definitely get it built up and do some measurements against your other frame before buying another stem.

The superleggera is earmarked and I plan to ride it for a few weeks before making a decision.

What headset do you use?
In addition to the -8 degree Deda, you might also be able to take advantage of a smaller top cap?

I know that FSA makes one- My newest Specialized came with a 5mm top cap. Cane Creek also makes them.

It's a straight 1-1/8" King.
