The Bespoke Bicycle with Ben Serotta & Exhibit

Hilltop Bicycles, my LBS here in NJ, hosted a great event tonight featuring Ben Serotta. It was an evening in celebration of the bespoke bicycle, including a Serotta exhibit. The shop had 14 Serottas on display, all from local riders. Ben was interviewed by former editor-in-chief of Bicycling Magazine, Steve Madden.

My bike is the pink/blue fade Colorado LT. Ben brought two new bikes with him, his new handbuilt steel C17 ModoMio and his aluminum Duetti road bike (launching in a few weeks).

It was so awesome to meet Ben in person and speak with him about the state of the industry today and his new projects.

I got to play with the AModo Mio at Savile Road a month or so ago. It's REALLY nice. And stupid light. He was up in Vermont welding up frames which stunk cause I want to chat a bit.

Pretty cool you got to show off your bike.

The Modo Mio is so light! I couldn't believe it was steel when I picked it up.
