Taking "bike glamping" to a whole new level.

As we start to see legitimate self driving cars will we start to see people doing "tours" with a self driving car to carry all their supplies and even sleep in?

Whoa, hadn't thought of that one, but it is sure to happen in some form or another.

That is a great idea ! You could have the follow car 20- 50 yards back driving at your pace with its warning lights flashing. It would protect you from idiots wanting to buzz you or throw things at you.
A group trip that would allow everyone to ride and nobody has to drive the SAG wagon !

The machines are coming.

Makes me sick to my stomach.

Maybe I'll take another look at that Nvidia stock.

Unless they were stuck behind the follow car for 10 minutes.

RAAM has follow cars, doesn't it? Wonder if they have road rage issues.

Ha! I thought of NVDA when I read the title. I just got out at $200 after owning since July. Maybe should have stayed a bit longer, but always try to abide by the "pigs get slaughtered" approach.

Or better yet, have it as the lead vehicle and motorpace behind it. Best used on headwind days.

That's what I like about this forum, always thinking. Self driving van to block as much as possible. :)

But it would be fun to see a guy on rollers in the back of a self driving F250 or such, just enjoying the ride but not the risk of distracted drivers

Yah, I want a self driving car I can call to come pick me up if I get more punctures than I have spares, or if my little legs get tired.

when I have a self-driving follow car with a stash of spare wheels inside is when I'll go back to riding road tubulars :fight:

I'd settle for ASIMO driving a scooter to motorpace me, and also be a trained robot mechanic.

Why go some where with one vehicle, when you can go there with two! America, what a country!
