Are there any black/dark anodized pre-built wheels available in tubular? I know that the silver Mavic Ksyrium SL's and the silver Eurus's are, but anything else?

Look for Campagnolo Nucleon or Neutron and look no further.

Anyone use the Fulcrum 1 wheels?? Essentially the same as Ksyrium SL's??

I think you can get a Shimano freehub for this wheel, but others with more knowledge will have to confirm that.

The latest neutrons are not available in a tubbie version (or don't seem to be), but there are plenty around--a shop may have access to NOS, and e-bay has a small but steady stream of neutron and nucleon tubular wheels.

I'm pretty sure that Neutrons were offered with a shimano freehub for at least a few years. You can also find NOS Mavic Ks that are black (or primarily black, especially if you ignore the stickers). And, of course, the CF pre-built wheels are mostly black.

Color choice aside, were the Shimano Dura Ace (non carbon) wh-7800/7801 wheels ever offered in tubular (not talking about the new tubeless)? If yes, anyone know any retailers that have them?

I have two sets of Nucleon tubulars. One was bought here on the Serotta Classifieds and the other on eBay. Both have been excellent wheelsets, requiring one spoke nipple to be turned one time about 1/4 of one turn. That's it.

Don't spend new prices on these wheels market value on eBay seems to be $350-$450. They turn up fairly regularly.

Actually, I guess I could go with a set of the Ksyrium ES's in tubular/shimano....they seem to be reasonably easy to order through LBS's.
Any negatives to these wheels?

Also, after more looking, I see that total cycling offers both the Dura Ace 7800, and the newer 7801 (black) in the tubular versions. Has anyone had a decent amount of time on these wheels?? Comments??
Thanks!!

Price.

All of the above mentioned prebuilts seem to be in roughly the same price range, give or take $100-200, if you shop around. I know I could go handbuilt for less, but I'm not interested in that at the moment.
