Hello again, I was originally going to refinish my Ottrott, but now I'm thinking it wouldn't be wise to void the warranty. While I know I could do it, I'm thinking about sending it in; anyone ever had their bike refinished by Serotta? If so, about how much was it and how long did you have to wait for the turnaround? Thanks!

I recently sent a late 90's steel Serotta GP Suisse in for a repaint. The result was nothing short of stunning. I felt like I had a brand new bike. The cost was $425 (worth every cent), and the turn around was 3-4 weeks.

I had my Concours refinished a couple of years ago.
Similar situation. The bike looked brand new.

I've had them re-paint 2 of my bikes. They did a great job on both. About the same price as a JB paint job (in half the time).

I had my CSI repainted because of a lot of wear and tear and they did a really great job. Top notch technicians and facility, the new paint job is as hard as a rock. Harder, actually, the new paint just doesn't chip or anything and looks really sharp.

Who should a person talk to about refinishing at Serotta? I've got some questions I'd love to pose to a knowledgable Serotta-ite.

I just gave them a call last week and they were very helpful.
